What a little gem of a restaurant. Wonderful food. I had the dorado or in the uk known as sea bream. Beautifully cooked. Delicious! I will definitely go back again when in Northampton. Thank you.

Love this place. Been twice now and it really reminds us of being home in Madeira. Great atmosphere, the staff are super accommodating and friendly. Service is timed well. Good traditional menu with a few other bits thrown in. Would like to see Milho Frito on the menu as its such a staple in Madeira, but the espetada and bolo do caco are delicious and authentic. Food is delicious, great portions. We had three courses, including two desserts and loads of alcohol and it was only about £48 per person, which is decent. We will definitely be back a third time and many more.

I had the Espetada, a traditional dish of skewered meat, and it was cooked to absolute perfection – tender, succulent, and bursting with flavour. The portions are generous, ensuring you leave feeling completely satisfied. Every dish that came to our table was a testament to high-quality ingredients and traditional culinary skill. Madeira's Restaurante is a true gem in Northampton. If you are looking for outstanding food, impeccable service, and a wonderfully atmospheric setting, you simply must pay them a visit. It’s a five-star experience that I cannot recommend highly enough. We are already planning our next visit!

Magnificent food and great service. Having tried a variety like cod pie and little frenchie and skewers, there is something for everyone. Very attentive and polite and look after their customers very well. Highly recommended.

From start to finish, everything felt perfect. The waiter was kind, the food was served quickly, and every bite of my mushroom risotto was heavenly. The flavors were rich but balanced, and the texture was creamy without being heavy.

Hands down, the best one I've had in the UK in the past ten years! The menu is fairly priced, and the portions are generous, leaving you completely satisfied.
